There are few hydrangeas able to match this one in terms of sheer exuberance of flowering and the ability to stop the garden visitor in their tracks. It is a true compact hydrangea reaching approximately 1 metre by 1 metre wide even after a period of several years. I have found it is more likely to show true pink or blue with amendment of the soil according to your preference. Mine have gone a stunning variegated blue in my soil which tends to acidic.
