Mix and match from the extensive colour range of Living Fashion Echinaceas.
Echinacea ‘Daydream’ is best grown in average, medium, well-drained but not over-dry soil. Prefers a sunny position but avoid Echinaceas drying out in hot conditions in the first 2-3 years of establishment. Once the central tap root forms these plants will be far more drought tolerant. Vigilance on slugs and snails is important through spring to avoid damage to new shoots. Mark the position of dormant Echinaceas to aid spring care and pest control. Avoid extremely low pH (acidic) soil conditions which may prove fatal. Ideal pH 5.8-7.3. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded (about every 4 years). Plants may require deadheading, or removal of spent flowers to improve general appearance and encourage repeat flowering. Ideal mass border impact plant in combination with other Echinaceas. Great cutting flower for indoor floral work.
