Bergenias are one of the hardiest of perennials, with attractive ‘leathery’ leaves and pink flowers carried on spikes in early spring. Bergenia ‘Lunar Glow’ has a light and bright foliage colour in comparison to the darker green leaves of other Bergenias. New leaves emerge creamy yellow holding their vibrant yellow colour through the season then turning Burgundy-Red in late Autumn to Winter. Flowers emerge a deep cerise pink in early spring, forming a great contrast to foliage.  

Bergenias will tolerate a very wide range of situations and soil types, they are a particularly easy perennial to grow and ‘Lunar Glow’ is no exception. A low maintenance plant.  Plant in sun to part shade ideally in well drained, porous soils. Bergenias tolerate dry conditions well and need minimal watering so an excellent choice for those with water restrictions.
