Something totally different for the plant collector! Geum ‘Eos’ is bred for its startling combination of lime gold foliage and deep orange flowers. ‘Eos’ is named after the Greek Sun God, and glows accordingly! Growth is compact, and in New Zealand conditions we find the best lime effect is produced in part shade, whereas foliage becomes more ‘bronzed green’ in increasing light intensity. Flowers are a lovely vibrant contrast to the foliage producing an eye-catching display in Spring. ‘Eos’ is compact, and tends to establish slightly more slowly than our other new Geum, ‘Fireball’

Geum ‘Eos’ will grow in conditions anywhere from full sun to shade but we recommend part shade in NZ conditions because our intense light levels tend to darken the foliage in full sun. Keep moist and feed occasionally with slow release fertiliser. Easy care. Hardy. 0.3m x 0.30m
