Verbascums are a lovely reliable perennial and Verbascum ‘Lavender Lass’ heralds a new series of top performing verbascums in gorgeous complementary colours. Verbascum ‘Lavender Lass’ produces numerous spikes of large lavender and plum flowers on sturdy stems. Foliage is attractively ruffled and velvet in texture. Foliage 20cm high x 35cm wide, with flower spikes up to 55cm. Mix and match with others in the series, Verbascums ‘Sierra Sunset’ (deep orange) ‘Dark Eyes’ (Creamy yellow with maroon centre) or ‘Royalty’ (Dark Mauve). Verbascums are hardy and long-flowering, providing a beautiful display suitable for smaller or narrow spaces in the garden. Group plant in full sun for best effect. Suitable pot or container plant.  Hardy perennial which prefers good drainage. Do not over-water, avoid excessive prolonged moisture/damp situation or these plants may rot out. Cutting back spent flower heads will induce further flowering
