Begonia Cathedral
A Tropical Begonia from another world. This most unusual Begonia has green leaves with striking exposed red undersides, giving it a dramatic and unusual look. Produces ivory flowers but essentially this is a foliage effect plant. Not only is ‘Cathedral’ a beauty but its tough too! This is a foliage begonia suitable for indoors or sheltered Northern out-doors growing. This plant could be grown in a sheltered courtyard in the North, in a pot, hanging basket, combined mixed-foliage pot or as a gift. Recommended indoors in cool climates. Outdoor-grown plants will need protection in the colder winter months but in warmer climates are relatively hardy.Cultural Notes: This is a rhizomatous Begonia capable of propagation from leaf cuttings. It prefers somewhat porous soil and some organic matter. Prefers Filtered light, morning sun or shade. Avoid exposure to full sun. Feed well with slow release fertilizers for best plant performance. Dry slightly between waterings. Height to 45cm Width to 60cm Part shade/Filtered light/indoors
