Corydalis ‘Blackberry Wine’ is a vigorous, spreading perennial with blue-green fern like foliage. Flowers are plentiful and highly fragrant. Corydalis ‘Blackberry Wine’ will flower for an extended period from Late Spring right through Summer. Flowers are a most unusual shape and a violet-purple colour, different from the more usual blue corydalis.

Ideal as an under planting for deciduous trees or for dappled shade situations. Suits mixed plantings with hostas or ferns. Can be used to achieve massed ground cover in shade situations with the bonus of a lovely fragrance. Plant may go dormant in winter cold or summer extreme dry situations.
